Usability Testing

If you conduct a usability testing project, your project would happen along these lines:

• find a place to meet people (such as a coffeeshop with wi-fi)
• find volunteers, either by advertising beforehand or with a sign on your table
• have them perform some activity and take notes of what difficulties they ran into
• treat them for their time, such as with a latte

For these projects, it's normal to ask for a larger grant to cover the treating your volunteer testers.
